RESUMO: O propósito deste artigo é refletir sobre o texto teatral As Confrarias, do dramaturgo Jorge
Andrade, produzido em 1969. O referido texto encontra-se inédito nos palcos, mas traz uma contribuição
significativa ao debate político da década de 1960, colocando seu autor frente à produção da arte de
resistência ao Regime Militar.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to reflect about the dramaticist Jorge Andrade’s text “As
Confrarias”, produced in 1969. The referred text stands inedit at stage, but brings a significant
contribuition to the politic debate at the 1960 decade, putting its author forwards on the production of the
resistence art to the Military Regime.
