A LUTA CONTRA A DITADURA MILITAR E O PAPEL
DOS INTELECTUAIS DE ESQUERDA

RESUMO: Entre 1964 e 1970, diversos partidos políticos de esquerda lutaram contra a ditadura militar
brasileira. Com efeito, estas organizações estavam diante de uma difícil tarefa: iniciar a “luta armada” e,
ao mesmo tempo, modificar o papel social do intelectual revolucionário. Este artigo discutirá este assunto
de modo a mostrar a situação dramática na qual muitos homens e mulheres estiveram envolvidos.

ABSTRACT: Between 1964 and 1970, various leftist political parties struggled against the brazilian
military dictatorship. In fact, they are faced with a difficult task: to start the “guerrilla warfare” and, at the
same time, to modify the social role of the revolutionary intelectual. This article will discuss this subject
so that to show the dramatic situation in which a lot of men and woman were involved.
