RESUMO: O artigo demonstra o grande empenho de Jean Golein, integrante do círculo de Carlos V, que
na França, entre 1364 a 1380, recorre ao milagre régio e às legendas, ou seja, à esfera do sagrado, visando
o fortalecimento do poder real.

ABSTRACT: The article demonstrates Jean Golein's great pledge, integral of Carlos' V circle, that in
France, among 1364 to 1380, it falls back upon the royal miracle and the legends, in other words, to the
sphere of the sacred, seeking the invigoration of the real power.
