REFLEXÃO SOBRE O CONCEITO DE ROMANIZAÇÃO

RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo consiste em discutir o conceito de romanização e em explorar alguns dos temas centrais da teoria pós-colonial. Nosso terceiro objetivo consiste em observar de maneira refletida o impacto da dominação de Roma na paisagem do sul da província da Lusitânia através da organização das civitates e da produção do espaço urbano social da civitas de Balsa.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this paper is to discuss the concept of Romanization and to explore some of the central themes of post-colonial theory. Our third aim is to look reflexively at the impact of Rome’s domination on the landscape in the south of Lusitania’s province by the organization of the civitates and the production of the urban social space of the civitas of Balsa.
