RESUMO: Abordaremos alguns aspectos do processo de comunicação no mundo romano a partir da
análise de um mosaico com a figura central de um leão e uma inscrição musiva, datado da primeira
metade do século III e proveniente das termas da cidade de Uzitta na província da África Proconsular.

ABSTRACT: We will approach some aspects of the communication process in the Roman World based
on the analysis of a mosaic with the figure of a lion in the center and a mosaic inscription, dated from the
middle of the third century and originated from the bath houses in the city of Uzitta in the Africa
Proconsularis province.
