ITINERÁRIOS AFRICANOS: DO COLONIAL AO PÓS-COLONIAL
NAS LITERATURAS AFRICANAS DE LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA

RESUMO: Em primeiro lugar, constata-se que muitas são as “Áfricas” e diversas são as literaturas africanas em língua portuguesa. Em seguida, tomando-se a obra literária de Agostinho Neto e Pepetela como norte reflexivo, pensa-se sobre os lugares e não-lugares da África e sobre a possibilidade de uma mentalidade pós-colonial nos países africanos colonizados por Portugal. Depois disto, há uma reflexão por meio da qual os processos independentistas são considerados como fundamentais, mas como insuficientes à emergência de uma mentalidade pós-colonial.

ABSTRACT: First of all, we have noticed that there are many “Africas” and several African literatures in the Portuguese language. And also, taking Agostinho Neto and Pepetela’s literary work as a reflexive north, we have thought about the places and non-places of Africa and the possibility of a post-colonial mentality in the African countries colonized by Portugal. After this, there is a reflection in which the independence processes are considered as fundamental, but as insufficient to the emergency of a postcolonial mentality.
