QUANDO TIRADENTES ENCONTROU COM CALABAR

RESUMO: Este artigo busca estabelecer um “encontro” entre os personagens históricos, Joaquim José da Silva Xavier, o Tiradentes, e Domingos Fernandes Calabar, respectivamente a partir do estabelecimento de relações validas na produção do filme “Os Inconfidentes” (1972) e na urdidura da peça “Calabar – o elogio da traição” (1973), revelando vestígios de como as obras artísticas carregam as marcas históricas e estéticas de seu tempo.

ABSTRACT: This article aims to establish a “meeting” between the historical characters, Joaquim José da Silva Xavier, known by the nickname Tiradentes, and Domingos Fernandes Calabar, respectively from the establishment of relations on the production and the output of the film “Os Inconfidentes” (1972) and in the warp of the piece “Calabar – o elogio da traição” (1973), revealing vestiges of the artistic works carry the historical marks and esthetics of its time.
