RELAÇÃO COM A CONSTITUIÇÃO HISTÓRICA DO
NIILISMO

RESUMO: Este artigo visa apresentar através dos poemas Prometeu e O Divino o aspecto negativo e, até
certo ponto, niilista da religiosidade de J. W. Goethe, na medida em que estes poemas inauguram marco
histórico no pensamento religioso, contribuindo de maneira decisiva na formação do niilismo posterior,
bem como em diversas concepções libertárias no âmbito teológico.

ABSTRACT: This essay aims at presenting the negative and, to a certain degree, nihilist aspects of
goethean religiosity, through the poems Prometheus and The Divine, wich inaugurate a historical mark in
the libertarian religious thought, contributing decisively in the later nihilism formation, as well as many
libertarian conceptions in theological field.
