RESUMO: Este artigo propõe estabelecer pressupostos relativos à poética de Cyrano de Bergerac,
salientando o diálogo que o autor realiza com alguns elementos da tradição literária e filosófica na França
do século XVII, o que possibilita um olhar privilegiado sobre o mundo e a cultura do período.

ABSTRACT: This article proposes to establish assumptions of the Cyrano de Bergerac’s poetic,
emphasizing the dialogue that the author had with some elements of literary and philosophical tradition in
France on the seventeenth century, which enables a better look about the world and the culture of the
period.
