REINTERPRETAÇÃO DO TEMPO

RESUMO: O texto visa captar a percepção do tempo histórico e os projetos políticos da elite deposta em 1930 por meio da análise de seus discursos na Assembléia Nacional Constituinte de 1946. A análise da experiência desse grupo na constituinte daquele ano é pertinente para a discussão acerca da relação entre história e memória, uma vez que demonstra as múltiplas percepções de tempo e o retorno de uma “memória subterrânea” que luta pela sua institucionalização. Pensar a atuação dos exilados da Velha República na Constituinte de 1946 é um campo fértil para se pensar a escrita da história.

ABSTRACT: This text aims to catch the perception of the historical time and the political projects of the elite group displaced in 1930 by the analysis of their discourses in the Assembly of 1946. The experience’s analysis of this group is relevant to the discussion about the relation between history and memory, inasmuch as it shows several perceptions of the time and of a “subterranean memory” that wants its establishment. To think about the exiled people’s performance of the Velha República (The Old Republic) in 1946 is a fertile field to think about the writing of the history.
