RESUMO: Esta pesquisa centra-se na análise comparativa de dois textos: O Saci, de Monteiro Lobato, e Fausto, de Goethe. O nosso objeto na análise será, mais especificamente, as relações entre os seres humanos e os demônios, Saci e Mefistófeles. Em ambos os casos, essas obras desenvolvem um diálogo entre o mundo real e o sobrenatural, através de pactos geradores de conflitos nas vidas dos homens.

ABSTRACT: This research is centered in the comparative analysis of two texts: O Sacy, of Monteiro Lobato, and Faust, of Goethe. Our object in the analysis will be, more specifically, the relationships among the human beings and the demons, Sacy and Mephistopheles. In both cases, those works develop a dialogue between the real world and the supernatural, through generating pacts of conflicts in the men's lives.
