RESUMO: O Clube de Cinema de Porto Alegre (CCPOA) foi fundado em 1948 por Pablo Fontoura Gastal, utilizando a forma associativa como modelo para a condição coletiva de recepção do cinema. O CCPOA inseriu-se significativamente no conjunto de experiências das instituições, textos, atividades e agentes que tem configurado o cinema como acontecimento. Ele é apreendido no cruzamento entre a sofisticação e sensibilidade da recepção fílmica dos estudos de cinema e as histórias de vida de pessoasfonte.

ABSTRACT: The Club of Films of Porto Alegre was established in 1948 for Pablo Fontoura Gastal using the associative form as model for the collective condition of reception of the cinema. The CCPOA was inserted significantly in the set of experiences of the institutions, texts, activities and agents whom the cinema has configured as event. It is apprehended in the crossing between the sophistication and sensitivity of the fílmic reception of the films studies and histories of people-source life.
