SANDRA PESAVENTO E A GRANDE PERGUNTA

RESUMO: Este artigo analisa parte da trajetória intelectual de Sandra Jatahy Pesavento chamando a atenção para a recorrência, na produção da historiadora, de perguntas voltadas para o entendimento da forma como os indivíduos interpretavam o mundo em que viviam. Alguns trabalhos de sua autoria, distribuídos no período que vai de 1994 a 2007, ajudaram a sustentar a hipótese sobre a centralidade destas perguntas na obra de Sandra Pesavento.

ABSTRACT: This article analyzes part of Sandra Jatahy Pesavento’s intellectual history drawing attention to the recurrence, in the production of the historian, of questions aimed at understanding the way people interpreted the world in which they lived. Some works of her authorship, distributed in the period from 1994 to 2007 helped support the hypothesis about the centrality of these questions in the work of Sandra Pesavento.
