AÇÃO NO DEBATE DA LEI DE DIRETRIZES E BASES

RESUMO: O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o debate que resultou na Lei n. º 4024/1961, acerca do ensino de 1.º e 2º graus que entrou em vigor sob o governo de João Goulart considerando o processo de lutas iniciadas na sociedade civil, que perpassou o Estado em toda a sua extensão. Este debate percorreu todo o período democrático. Este artigo aborda o debate parlamentar e a intensa mobilização na sociedade civil onde a questão do financiamento da educação emergiu. Neste ponto destacamos personagens como Gustavo Corção e Carlos Lacerda, que travaram intensa militância política, preparando as condições para o predomínio dos interesses privados na educação brasileira.

ABSTRACT: The object of this article is examine the discussion that resulted in the law n.º 4024/1961, regarding the education of 1.º and 2.º levels that to went in effect in the corse of João Goulart government, considering the struggles process initiated in the civil society that traversed the State in all extension. This controversy happened all democratic period. This article approach the parliamentary discussion and the intense mobilization in the civil society, where the financiament question emerged. In this point detach personages like Gustavo Corção e Carlos Lacerda, that joint intense political militancy, preparing the conditions for the predominance for the private interest in the brazilian education.
