A PRESENÇA DO ESPORTE E DO LAZER EM OBRAS
DE ARTE: UMA ANÁLISE COMPARADA DE
IMPRESSIONISTAS E FUTURISTAS

RESUMO: Este estudo objetiva discutir a presença do esporte nas obras de artistas relacionados ao impressionismo e ao futurismo. Se os impressionistas olham com desconfiança para a modernidade que se construía na Paris do século XIX, os futuristas a louvam e a conclamam numa Itália ainda atrasada do ponto de vista cultural. Se impressionistas inovam na representação técnica, futuristas radicalizam essa idéia. Se impressionistas ainda discutem a idéia de uma “arte pela arte” e são ressabiados em relação ao compromisso político de suas obras, para os futuristas esse é um posicionamento claro. Entender o esporte nesses âmbitos parece promissor.

ABSTRACT: The goal of this study is to argue about the presence of the sport in the paintings of artists related to the impressionism and the futurism. If impressionists look at with diffidence the modernity in XIX century Paris, futurists praise and conclamam it in Italy. If impressionists innovate in the technique representation, futurists radicalize this idea. If impressionists still argue about the idea of an “art for the art” and are prudents in relation to the commitment politician of its paintings, for the futurists this is a clearly position. To understand the sport in these scopes seems promising.
