Retratos e negociações matrimoniais (séculos XV e XVI)

O artigo analisa a produção de retratos em duas negociações de casamentos entre os séculos XV e XVI, o enlace matrimonial de Filipe, o Bom, duque de Borgonha, com a infanta D. Isabel de Portugal, e as negociações de Henrique VII, rei da Inglaterra, com Margarida de Áustria. O estudo evidencia a importância dos retratos para a diplomacia e as relações estabelecidas entre as práticas diplomáticas e o cenário cultural do período, marcado pelo desenvolvimento artístico em diferentes partes da Europa e por novas referências estéticas.
